Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences & Technology (SCTIMST) offers treatment facility for ailments coming under the specialities of Cardiology, Cardio Vascular and Thoracic Surgery, Neurology, Neurosurgery and Neuro & vascular Radiology.

At the time of registration and first consultation, the patient must bring a referral letter issued by a registered doctor in modern medicine (Allopathy).

It is recommended to fix prior appointment for new registration. The registration date can be reserved either by telephone, post, email or directly from the information counters.

Registration and consultation can be done on all weekdays (Monday to Friday) between 8 A.M and 12 Noon. No registration is done on Saturdays, Sundays and other Institute holidays.

At the time of registration/ admission, exact details regarding patient's name, age, guardian's name, complete postal address, phone numbers and means of livelihood and source of income must be given.

Kindly bring all previous medical records like Scan films, Blood & other investigation reports, X-ray and ECG reports, Angiogram CD, etc. when you come for consultation.

The patients are categorized on the basis of their income and deserving patients are eligible for concessional rates for treatment.

Patients can use the entrance passage near the information counter I (Block I) for access to services of Cardiology, Cardiac & Thoracic Surgery OPDs, Lab, ECG and ECHO units located in Block I of the hospital, entrance passage near Information Counter II (Block III) for services of Neurology & Neuro Surgery, entrance at the backside of hospital for Imageology Services (MRI, CT, Ultrasound etc)
